Privacy Policy

Signal Brief is operated by Muell Haus Inc. It is a weekly financial research digest delivered by email. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to get rid of it. It is short on purpose, because we do not collect much.

What we collect

• Your email address. We need it to send you the brief. That is the only required piece of information.
• Your watchlist. On the Plus plan, the companies, tickers, and investors you want covered, plus the names and emails of anyone else at your firm who should receive the brief. On Standard we use our own editorial model book, so there is nothing for you to give us.
• Optional details you send us. Your name or firm name, if you fill them in or mention them in an email.
• Basic site analytics. Aggregate page view counts so we know whether anyone is reading the site. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no selling to ad networks.

Why we collect it

One reason: to build and send your brief. Your email is the delivery address. Your watchlist is what tells the research pipeline which companies and investors to cover. We also use your email to reply to you, to handle billing, and to tell you about changes to the service or the price.

We do not use your watchlist to trade, and we do not treat it as a market signal. It is a list of names we go and read about on your behalf.

We do not sell your data

We never sell, rent, or trade your email address or your watchlist. We do not share them with advertisers or data brokers. The only outside parties that touch your information are the vendors we need to actually run the product, like our email delivery service and our payment processor, and they only get what they need to do that job.

We would only hand over information if the law required it, and we would tell you unless we were legally prevented from doing so.

Unsubscribe anytime

Every brief has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and the emails stop. You can also just email us and ask, and we will do it for you.

Deletion on request

Email kreativ@muellhaus.com and ask us to delete your data, and we will remove your email address and your watchlist from our systems. You do not need to give a reason. If you would rather see a copy of what we hold on you first, ask for that instead and we will send it.

We keep whatever billing records the law requires us to keep, and nothing more.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information in a way that matters, we will email subscribers before it takes effect.
